I’m Michelle.
Why I’m running for County Commission
I love my community and believe in the principle of service. I am running as a moderate Democrat, because I am deeply concerned about the erosion of our county’s integrity and reputation as a result of the current board’s leadership. I believe in democratic representation and that you deserve a choice in this election.
What do I mean by “moderate”?
I am committed to presuming goodwill as I work with my future colleagues across the aisle. I know that many of my Republican neighbors are also frustrated by what Ottawa Impact is doing. While we may disagree on some issues, most of these fall outside the scope of county government. I hope we can set them aside, focus on what we have in common, and work together to bring a sense of unity back to our community.
